General notary questions

A notary public is a state-commissioned official authorized to verify the identity of signers, witness signatures, and apply an official seal to documents. Notarization confirms that the person signing is who they say they are and that they signed willingly. It does not mean the notary has reviewed the document for legal accuracy.
A valid, current, government-issued photo ID. Make sure your document is unsigned before the appointment. Most notarizations require you to sign in front of the notary, so signing in advance may invalidate the notarization.
Dunn Document Services can notarize most documents that require an Oklahoma notarization. Notaries cannot notarize a document in which they have a personal financial interest. If you have a question about a specific document, reach out before booking.

Mobile notary appointments at hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities are available throughout the OKC metro. When booking, note the facility name, address, and room or unit number if known. If the signer requires special accommodations or has limited capacity to communicate, let us know in advance so the appointment can be handled appropriately. A valid ID is still required.
